The Snow to Begin It All

This weekend was a whirlwind.  First off, it was cold.  Very very cold.  Then came the rain.  Lots and lots of rain.  Then no power and heavy wind.  The wind blew down power lines and left many in the dark (mainly in Connecticut).  But here, well we got some snow.  It wasn't much but it was enough to spark discussion of how it could be snowing in October.  Really, how is that possible?  It doesn't make sense.
So first came the rain, the sheets of it that came down and pummeled Marblehead.  Then the snow came with a dusting and a warning: More will be coming.  I will be waiting...
