First off, we have J. Edgar a movie directed by famed director Clint Eastwood (Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino) with actor Leonardo DiCaprio (Inception and Titanic). It tells the story of the first director of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover. It will definitely be one to watch.
Then there's Breaking Dawn, the first installment in a long awaited conclusion to Stephanie Meyers epic series Twilight. It is one that fans have been awaiting for years!
There's also Steven Speilberg's two movies: War Horse and The Adventures of Tintin. The first is a story of World War II and a boy's horse (adapted from the Tony award winning play which was adapted from the novel) and then the other is based on the famous graphic novels by Georges Remi and it uses motion captures. Both arrive on Christmas.
Finally, there are some lesser known movies like Illumination's adaption of Dr. Suess's The Lorax and Glenn Close's Albert Nobbs, Michele Williams's My Week with Marylin, Meryl Streep's The Iron Lady, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol starring Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner, and finally Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy starring Gary Oldman and Colin Firth.
It's a season to be jolly, and one that fill my spare time with movies.
