Marblehead High School's Headlight newspaper is a dedicated group of students that work each week to bring the local news about and pertaining to Marblehead High School to all Marbleheaders. Each week they meet to discuss the next issue and staff members will be chosen to write certain articles on topics varying from Fantasy Football to Homework to Social Media to Black Friday. Led by the wonderful Editor-in-Chief Matt Lieberson and Co-Editor Paige Kelloway, Headlight has become a growing force. Our superb Faculty Advisor Mr. Thomas Higgins is always supportive of what we do and helps us strive to be the best we can. This year led to the inception of a website designed by Alex Kerai and a web campaign that he pioneered; it also brought the revival of the English hallway's bulletin board which was designed by Grace Perry and maintained by her as well. Reporter-in-the-Field Danny Plunkett brings a humurous atmosphere to the group with his crazy titles (including but not limited to: Fashion Editor, Assistant to the Regional Manager, and Chef) while Editorial Manager Alex Stein writes witty commentary on his summer, Fall TV Schedule or Black Friday. Sports Manager Joel Katz always has the inside scoop on all sports related news and he writes about it with passion. Headlight Staff Writers Davis Gold, Dan Rosenburg, and Katarina Bishop write with a passion on topics like Social Media, the MHS Security Cameras, and the new Marblehead Schools Superintendent Dr. Maass.
